Nations League November: Every Fixture and What Is Actually at Stake

ProJersey Hub - Nations League November: Every Fixture and What Is Actually at Stake

The 2026/27 UEFA Nations League league phase finishes in November, across two windows: Matchday 5 runs 12–14 November 2026 and Matchday 6 runs 15–17 November 2026. For League A, that is when the four quarter-final places are settled. For everyone below, it is promotion, relegation or a March play-off.

Here is the full picture — the groups, every League A fixture in the November window, and the matches that decide the table.

The shape of the autumn

Matchday Dates (2026) What it decides
Matchday 1 24–26 September Opening round
Matchday 2 27–29 September First table movement
Matchday 3 30 September – 3 October A short exceptional slot was used for a handful of fixtures
Matchday 4 4–6 October Halfway line — the last league-phase football until November
Matchday 5 12–14 November Second-last round; several groups can be sealed here
Matchday 6 15–17 November Final round — qualification, promotion and relegation confirmed

Most fixtures kick off at 20:45 Central European time unless stated; a handful are moved earlier for travel and broadcast reasons. There is no league-phase football at all between 6 October and 12 November.

The four League A groups

Group Teams
A1 France, Italy, Belgium, Türkiye
A2 Germany, Netherlands, Serbia, Greece
A3 Spain, Croatia, England, Czechia
A4 Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Wales

Group A3 is the one most neutrals will watch. Spain arrive as world champions, Croatia have been the most consistent tournament side of the past decade, England are England, and Czechia are the team that keeps making these groups awkward.

Elsewhere in the same two windows, League B closes with fixtures including North Macedonia vs Scotland and Switzerland vs Scotland, Republic of Ireland vs Kosovo, Northern Ireland vs Ukraine and then Hungary vs Northern Ireland, and Poland vs Sweden. The League A/B and B/C promotion-relegation play-offs are then drawn off the final tables.

The five fixtures that decide the groups

  • Spain vs England, 15 November. The marquee tie of the window. Spain won the 2026 World Cup in July, beating Argentina 1–0 after extra time at New York New Jersey Stadium; England have spent the same cycle building around a younger core. In Group A3, this is likely to be the fixture that separates first from second.
  • Germany vs Netherlands, 16 November. The oldest rivalry in the group stage, and Group A2's most likely decider.
  • France vs Türkiye, 15 November, and Belgium vs Italy the same day. Group A1 is the tightest of the four on paper, and both of its final-round matches matter.
  • Portugal vs Denmark, 14 November, then Denmark vs Norway, 17 November. Group A4 finishes with a chain: the holders play first, then Denmark host Norway in the last round.
  • Croatia vs Czechia, 15 November. If Spain and England take points off each other, third place in A3 stays live until the last day.

Why Spain arrive as world champions

Spain won the 2026 World Cup on 19 July, beating Argentina 1–0 after extra time in New Jersey. Ferran Torres, on as a substitute, scored the only goal in the 106th minute. Rodri took the Golden Ball, Unai Simón the Golden Glove with seven clean sheets, and Pau Cubarsí the young player award. Spain conceded one goal across eight matches — the fewest ever by a World Cup-winning side — and extended their run without defeat in regular time to 38 matches.

They are also, awkwardly for everyone else, the team Portugal beat to win the last Nations League. The 2024/25 final in Munich finished 2–2 after extra time, with Cristiano Ronaldo equalising on 61 minutes for his 138th international goal, before Diogo Costa saved from Álvaro Morata and Rúben Neves converted the decisive penalty. That is the standard the November window is being played to.

The national-team range covers all four League A groups. The strongest sellers are worth naming, because the colourway is usually the reason people choose: the Spain national team collection, the England national team collection, and full sets for France, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, Croatia and Belgium — plus a combined national teams index with over 450 shirts.

Club football runs alongside all of this, which is why November is also when new kit lands. The Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City ranges sit in the same section, and the soccer new-season page tracks what has arrived this cycle.

What happens after 17 November

The league phase ends, and the competition goes quiet until spring. The quarter-finals and both sets of promotion-relegation play-offs are scheduled for 25–30 March 2027, with the four-team finals following on 9–13 June 2027. The League C/D play-offs are not played then — they are held in March 2028, because League D is being folded into the new three-league structure from 2028/29.

If you are buying for a specific matchday: a shirt is a simpler decision than a table. Replica shirts sit at $45.90, long-sleeve replicas at $49.90 and the tighter on-field player cut at $85.99, so a home-and-away pair in the replica build costs less than a single player-cut shirt. The size guide has the full chart if you are buying for someone else.
